Frequently asked questions.

Why should I digitize my video tapes and photo prints?

Digitizing your videotapes creates a “worry-free” philosophy. Having your precious memories on a hard drive or cloud service eliminates the clutter and questions of what if something goes wrong.

How much does 1 videotape to digital conversion cost?

The price per tape costs $60.00 CAD. This includes instructions to download your footage and upload to your own personal cloud service.

What happens if my tape is blank upon converting?

A charge of $30.00 CAD will be applied per blank tape.

Can I watch my memories on my TV after they have been digitized?

Absolutely! All you need is an HDMI cord and a laptop. To connect to a TV, you would plug in the hard drive to your laptop (USB port). And then use an HDMI cord to connect from your laptop to the TV to view. Digimemory Box sells both hard drives ($150) and HDMI cords ($30) if you would like to add them to your package.

Why should I back up my footage to a hard drive if you are sending them to me as a digital link?

The importance behind an external hard drive is in case anything might happen to your computer where your memories are saved. For example, water damage, your laptop getting stolen, or even crashing. Your files and archived memories are still saved on a separate drive for you to view and restore.

Digimemory Box offers hard drives and footage upload for $150 if you are looking to back up your special moments.
